Runner’s Retreat is in P21 Outpost, a short walk from the main house, and is the smallest room in that building. The window faces north onto a side street that is barely driven on. The windows are new, with blinds that darken the room almost completely even in full sun, and the tilt-and-turn frames cut the noise from outside further. There is a towel rail in the room. A small folding clothes airer stands next to the wardrobe for rainy days. A pull-up bar hangs on the way to the kitchen - the idea is one pull-up every time you walk past.

Running from here

From Runner's Retreat, an 8 km trail route starts right at the door, while the seafront promenade is a few hundred metres in the other direction. We occasionally organise Run & Brunch mornings, and there is also an active running community in Las Palmas.

Not the main building: the community, the coworking area and the main sport area are in U32, a short walk away.

House rules

Pets and children: as a rule, no. Exceptions are rare, happen only in the J48 Penthouse and only with the agreement of the residents staying there, and a minor comes only together with a parent. No parties, and the whole place is smoke-free, indoors and out.
