Calisthenics Cove is on the ground floor of U32 at the far end of the corridor, and it is the only room with its own lockable door out to the small patio. The window runs from about 100 cm to almost 300 cm, which is why this room needed no second one higher up: leaving the bathroom window open gives fresh air without giving up privacy. Its own bathroom has a shower, a washbasin, a mirror cabinet and a window of its own, and there is a wall-mounted pull-up bar in the room.

Calisthenics from here

Calisthenics Cove has its own wall-mounted pull-up bar for a quick set in the room. For a full session, the sport roof terrace has more space, another pull-up bar, weights, resistance bands and other training equipment. Nearby, there is also a park with a public calisthenics area. We occasionally organise circuit training on the roof terrace and workouts at the beach.

Trade-offs

Just so you know, Calisthenics Cove has four trade-offs:

Boulder Base has its window onto the same patio, so the patio is yours to walk into but not to sit in unseen.
Daylight reaches the room indirectly - the window faces the inner patio, not the outside.
Sound can still carry around the corner through the hallway wall, which is not insulated to the same standard.
Ground floor: the kitchen is one floor up, the roof terrace two.

House rules

Pets and children: as a rule, no. Exceptions are rare, happen only in the J48 Penthouse and only with the agreement of the residents staying there, and a minor comes only together with a parent. No parties, and the whole place is smoke-free, indoors and out.
