Three Quiet Options to Make Coffee Silently During the Night
Quiet hours are 22:00 to 07:00. The grinder of the coffee machine is the loudest thing in the kitchen, so during those hours use one of these three instead. None of them grinds anything, and all any of them needs is the kettle or the hob.
1. V60 Pour-Over - the house option

2. Instant Coffee
Two jars left behind by former residents. The fastest option: kettle, spoon, done. U32 and P21 only.
3. Moka Pot
The classic stovetop espresso maker, ready to use on the hob in all of our locations. Bring your own ground coffee for it.

Both kitchens have the same setup, all of it together on the right-hand side on top of the extractor hood: the V60 hand filter with paper filters, the tin of ground coffee with its spoon, a kitchen scale, two jars of instant coffee, and a moka pot - next to the bean-to-cup machine, which is the one with the grinder. That is what the photo at the top of this page shows.

Here coffee is made with the V60 or the moka pot, and a kitchen scale stands next to them. Same spoon and same cups as at U32 and P21, so the recipe works identically.
